the hardest thing you can ever be asked to do, well so far in my life, is hold your baby down on a table in a hospital room for strangers to do harmful things to her! yesterday, amelia and i spent 2.5 hours at the hospital having tests run on her teeny tiny kidneys. :( the nurses kept telling me it was going to be harder on me than it was for amelia. i had to basically pin her down for them to do an ultrasound on her, and then pin her down again for them to put a catheter in and fill up her bladder for xrays. amelia was such a little champ though! she only winced once or twice! the nurses said she was such a great baby, and they enjoyed working with her. i was one proud momma! :-D
i really wish i couldve snapped a picture of her in her hospital gown, because it was so dang cute! but since i couldnt take my belongings back to xray, this stinkin' cute picture will have to do....
p.s. - im so so glad to be home for a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i am so so nervous about the job opportunity i have today? struggling with time apart from amelia, but really wanting to help bring in some $$ for the family. hopefully it works out like it needs to. wish me luck!!
